Is The Next Call Of Duty Game Black Ops 4?
There is a rumor flying around Twitter that the next Call Of Duty game is actually going to be Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. I think that most of us Call Of Duty fans would be very happy with this as for many, Black Ops 3 is the best game in the series and it still has a huge online following and it is actually pretty easy to still get a game.
The rumor came from Marcus Sellars and as well as saying it would be Black Ops 4 he also said that it would be set in modern times and be a “boots on the ground” kind of game. By that, I take it to mean that there will not be any futuristic stuff like we have seen in some of the past COD games and that they will be sticking to the more realistic approach that Call Of Duty WWII had.
What really caught eye about this was that the Nintendo Switch was said to be getting this new Call Of Duty game. Considering how well the Switch has sold and how well Activision have supported Nintendo in the past (they even released a COD for the Wii U) it is not all that surprising. The rumor states that motion controls and HD rumble will be used in the Nintendo Switch version of Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. I am not a huge fan of this as when I use the Switch I prefer to use the Pro Controller, but it could still be fun to mess around with.
All the signs are pointing towards COD 2018 being a game set in a more modern setting and I for one would be very happy if it turned out Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 was what we got!
Tips For Call Of Duty WW2 The Darkest Shore
To say I have loved the zombie's mode in Call Of Duty WW2 is an understatement. I have already played through the latest chapter, The Darkest Shore a few times and loved every moment of it. I wanted to share a few tips with you to help you get through this terrifying chapter of Call Of Duty WW2 Nazi Zombies.
Use The Turret At The Start
When the zombies start coming out of the water right at the start, it can make you say what the hell and make you feel unprepared. Well, there is actually a pretty powerful turret on the left of the beach that can cut through this first horde very easily.
Know The Map
The Darkest Shore in Call Of Duty WW2 is one of the tightest maps going and the more you play it the more you get to know it. With so many tight spaces, if you make a mistake 99/100 you are dead! So make sure you know where you can run to and where you cannot. Knowing this can save your butt if you ever get overrun.
Use Minecarts
I know that spending points on minecarts seems a waste of money, but rather than seeing them as a way of getting around. Think of them as a lifeline. I have used a minecart many times when things have gotten a little too hot for me to handle and I needed to get out of there. However, I would not suggest just spending points on them because you cannot be bothered to walk!
Do Not Go For Long Range Weapons
Shotguns and machine guns are the way to go in The Darkest Shore. This map does not really work for long range scope style weapons. Most of the time what you are trying to kill is right in front of you and in tight quarters, a shotgun really shines and does a ton of damage.
