Sledgehammer Still Working On COD WWII Multiplayer
Like many of you, we have been having a blast with Call Of Duty WWII, but there are some people who are playing on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 that are still reporting problems playing Call Of Duty WWII online!
We can sympathize with you guys as we have had this happen to us before and it is frustrating, no matter what game it is. There is light at the end of the tunnel though. Basically, due to the problems during launch weekend, Sledgehammer had to change the kind of servers they were using for the game. They switched from dedicated servers to a P2P way of doing things, which helped, but with that comes some annoyances, like getting disconnected.
Sledgehammer though as we type this are getting dedicated servers back on track and in a few test markets they are already up and running and so far from what we have read, things are looking good and all of the teething problems that have been with the game since it launched a couple of weeks ago should be ironed out. Call Of Duty WWII is kind of an awkward situation. On one hand, so many people play it, that you are never left waiting long to find a game. However, on the flipside of this, you can potentially have millions of players, trying to play at the same time which of course can lead to havoc being caused on the servers!
We think that Call Of Duty WWII is one of the best first person shooters in years and are pretty confident in the folks at Sledgehammer sorting the server issues out sooner than later.
